The reason of teh advice for not reading business magazines is that people can get depressed by reading about success of other people or more successful people than themselves, which can make them feel like a laggard, which is not good. You have to think positively about what you are doing and your life.

Of course business magazines will bring you information on business, trade, industry and views on the world.</description>
