Seems very familiar. Indeed, you always seem to be waiting for at least 1 missing person.

    26. Noisy lines. Effect multiplied by people with bad mobile connections. Voip can suck too.

    27. People who are in the same physical location gathering around a phone put on speakerphone and having to shout at the phone.

    28. Not having to be on the conf call yourself but in the vincinity of 27. (at least book a meeting room when you are planning to start shouting at a phone)

    29. Even when you all speak the same non-English language, people tend to start talking in English.

    30. Having to ask different language people repeatedly to speak English, when someone else says he/she thinks that’s exactly what they’re trying to do (it’s English, but not as we know it).

    31. People talking to eachother in a language you don’t understand (this is rude, people!). Might turn out to be 30.

Sitting with the doctors in a room and talking with other doctors via video conferencing was very exciting for me when I first time sat for a meeting. I first felt like a movie going on until when one of the doctors asked me for my comments. It was really weird and exciting.

this is the funniest thing I have ever read!

I am on a conference all right now, and my Dallas-based manager has said “Y’all” about 10 times already. I always picture her with a cowgirl hat and two pistols when she says it.
    Ker-pow, ker-pow!

    I HATE conference calls!
