The audience is not listening as your content is not entertaining
We all know the phrase: ‘The Audience is listening’ (THX in a movie theater near you).
If your audience isn’t listening or isn’t taking notice of your marketing then your content is not entertaining.
Your message will be lost in all the white noise of other marketing messages.
It needs to be entertaining, to stand out of the crowd in order to get noticed.

Although the new marketing is content marketing your content needs to be entertaining equally in B2B (The THX ad is B2B).
Even very interesting but boring content will not generate much interest or keep the attention long as there is so much competition in getting the attention from all other marketers: both consumer and business to business products try to get everyone’s attention.
As the time that people can spend during a day is limited, you need to make sure your content is interesting and entertaining enough.
As a marketer you will end up being in entertainment – whether you want or not.
