Don’t call us twice as we’ll call you for the deal
Calling leads
When your leads get into the final stages of the sales cycle you become eager to call them up in order to speed up the process.
Calling once could be fine to keep the lead warm, but calling more than once over a short time could spoil your deal. Resulting in not closing your deal as you have become to pushy. You sound being too much in need for your commission.
If you are so much in need for your commission then the customer might interpret this as your product or service is not selling well. He might think your product or service is not that good or overpriced.
Being pushy is wrong
Salesmen who have sufficient deals going on and closing regularly new deals don’t have the time to call upon their potential customers every two days.
It is best not to seem to be eager for your commission by not calling too frequently you probable customer.
Only if you have significant and important additional information (like a customer reference or price discount) then you have a reason to call your prospect.
Are you a pushy salesman ?
