For Subscriptions

Business Model:

People pay a fixed amount of money on a regular basis for the Content.

Problem:

You have subscriptions for your content, but people share their UserName/Password with others.
This leads to less revenue.
By implementing the WEBMetering, which avoids users to share passwords, you will have an increase of revenue.
Thus more operating income.

Method:

For every issue or new content you publish, every subscriber is granted an amount of view time or consume time.
This amount of view time can be per issue, edition or by day, week, month. You decide.

The WEBMetering Service allows for measuring the exact time the subscriber consumes your content.
Once the granted amount of time expired, the subscriber can no longer consume the content

If the subscriber passes on his password to other people, the amount of time granted will be used by all of them. Shared by all.
This will restrict the number of people to which the Username/Password will be passed on to.

You can define the webpages within your website, which are to be WEBMetered.

Result:

As those, who can no longer use the Username/Password, are also interested in your content, a portion of them will take a subscription too.
These new subscriptions increase your sales and almost completely your operating income, as your costs stay the same.

People, who used to have your Content "available", might be interested in getting Pre-Paid or Post-Paid access to you content.

You can define the webpages within your website, which are to be WEBMetered.

Challenge:

The Consumer needs to trust you and your to be delivered Content, as the Consumer is paying upfront on a regular basis, independently of his consumption and of the quality of your Content.
Branding and reputation is important.
